Windows 7 RTM, First Impressions

I’ve gotten my hands on a pre-release version of Windows 7 Professional, thanks to the Microsoft Student Advantage program at my school, and so far everything looks good. It definitely is a lot more rounded off and better executed than Windows Vista and some of the new GUI changes are quite cool and nice once you get use to the small changes. Perhaps the greatest change is the start menu which has been completely revamped and redesigned and I think its actually quite good. It makes use of the new compositing window manager (Aero) that was introduced in Vista and it really shows off the abilities of Aero. » Read the rest of this entry «

As usual, this is a JavaScript bookmark that will allow direct downloading of a YouTube video.
